Lugo - the Spanish province with the same name which has completely kept till now the Roman fortifications and a magnificent Romance cathedral.

At end of 2000 the UNESCO has officially added walls of Lugo to the list of the monuments declared as the World heritage. This strengthening more than two kilometers in a circle is a unique echo of the Roman world practically remained in a primordial form.
The wall covers all historical enclosure of Lugo. It is possible to pass along it on a path towering on 12 metres in height.
